Saturday June 23rd, the Linsmore Tavern is so excited and honoured to host Canadian Legend, Carl Dixon's newest Album, "Whole 'Nother Thing" Launch party! This is without a doubt one of the biggest shows in the history of the Linsmore and we are so excited to be the host of Carl Dixon's newest work! Following Carl Dixon's set, one of the best up and coming bands in the country, Wrong Jeremy will be performing! This is going to be an amazing night of music and a night that you don't want to miss! To say that Carl Dixon is a Canadian Legend is definitely an understatement as he has been a band member of some of the biggest bands in all of Canada including Coney Hatch, April Wine and The Guess Who! Singer, musician, songwriter, author, "Strange Way to Live", inspirational speaker and miracle survivor of a shocking car accident. Carl Dixon is a Canadian rock legend. He's played in and been lead singer of The Guess Who and Coney Hatch, he opened for and toured with April Wine and has toured with some of North America's most iconic bands during a 30 year music career.

Since signing his first record deal at 22, touring 40 shows with Iron Maiden fronting hard rockers Coney Hatch and world chart toppers The Guess Who (as well as playing in April Wine four years) Carl’s extraordinary life was blindsided by a horrific car accident in 2008. His miraculous recovery from traumatic brain injury, losing an eye and 50 others injuries is the stuff of legends. He is one; having just released his debut country album Whole ‘Nother Thing. His book “Strange Way to Live” is in the best sellers list of Publishers Dundurn, he’s signed a German record deal and tours as an inspirational speaker (listed with the National Speakers Bureau). Originating from the Toronto, they have our front woman, Angie Bhatia (lead vocals, piano and rhythm guitar), Preston St. Jules (lead guitar), Sarah Varty (drums/back up vocals), and Ali Abdelbadie (bass guitar). Wrong Jeremy will leave you craving lyrical rock ballads, big funk grooves, and wild rhythms! They were one of the six finalists in The Bout 2018 competition at the Hideout in Toronto and have opened for artists such as Richie Kotzen (pianist/guitarist for Poison, Mr. Big and Winery Dogs). Additionally they are booked to open for Carl Dixon (April Wine, The Guess Who) and for Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent) this summer. They are a band that you need to see!
