Sunday August 5th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is kicking off the first Blues Sunday of the month as always, with the hardest working band in Toronto, The Jerome Tucker Band! Blues fans, music fans, the Jerome Tucker Band is building up a huge following right now in Toronto through their live show and will absolutely floor you with their musicianship! Each month their show keeps growing, as the buzz is circulating about how good these guys are! Jerome has a fantastic band and will bring in some incredible guest musicians time to time, as his show is always different from the last one! On Saturday August 4, fans of British post punk rock music, this is the night for you, as the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is welcoming back two incredible Tribute bands who will co-headline this unique night of post punk rock. The Queen is Dead will be playing the music of The Smiths and The Dead Souls will perform the music of Joy Division. Hardcore post punk rock fans cannot afford to miss this rare night of music and this co-headlining show! The Queen Is Dead are a tribute to the iconic and highly influential Manchester band The Smiths. Based in Toronto, they have been curating and fine tuning a choice selection of material to please any fan of The Smiths. The Dead Souls are a Guelph based trio that perform and celebrate the intense music of Manchester, UK post-punk legends Joy Division. Almost forty years after the tragic suicide of Ian Curtis the timeless sound of Joy Division still resonates across the ages and the Dead Souls work hard to bring this brilliant music to life on the stage as it was intended. Uforia Rocks the 90's at the Linsmore Tavern!

Friday August 3rd, we can't wait to welcome to the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) for the very first time, one of the hottest band's in the country, Uforia! Uforia is turning heads with their amazing original rock music that has been inspired from an evolution of Rock Radio, taking influence from Royal Blood, Billy Talent, Incubus, Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Our Lady Peace, Green Day, Sum 41! This night in particular, Uforia will be performing the covers from some amazing, fun power pop/rock songs from the 90's that has influenced them! This will be a real fun night of music with some incredible musicians! All of your favourite 90’s tunes ranging from Pop Rock giants Blink 182 and Green Day to your favourite dance tunes from the Killers and Fall Out Boy, Uforia is sure to fill the room with nostalgia and keep the audience entertained the whole night through. The band that we having coming in Sunday July 29th for Molson Canadian Blues Sunday has played 3 previous shows at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth), to rave reviews and we have had multiple requests to bring them back! Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band is making their return to the Linsmore Tavern for the first time in a year for another evening of blues, part of our Molson Canadian Blues Sunday! Mike Nagoda is an incredible talent and will definitely inspire you with his amazing slide guitar skill! Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band will play a variation of Blues mixed in with Jazz, Country and Hard Rock, played with not just one slide, but two. Mike’s unique style of Double Slide Guitar (influenced by the late Brian Cober) is done by only a handful of musicians across the world.
