The Rattles: The Beatles Tribute Returns to the Linsmore Tavern!

Saturday February 15th, the Linsmore Tavern is so excited to welcome for back for the first time in almost 3 years, The Rattles: The Beatles Tribute! It's been a while since we had a Beatles Tribute at the Linsmore and with so many requests by so many people, we had to bring one in ASAP! THE RATTLES are definitely Canada's Most Authentic Tribute to THE BEATLES and you will get to see them live in action in an intimate setting on February 15th at the Linsmore Tavern! Formed in 2010, The Rattles have headlined some of the largest Beatles fan events in Canada over the years, and are one of the hottest tributes in the country. The band features all four Beatles' vocals with stunning similarity, as well as original vintage-era gear. The effect is like being transported to a Beatles concert in 1972, that never was. The AdVentures A Surf Rock Tribute to The Ventures at the Linsmore!!

Thursday February 13th is going to be a really cool show at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave), as we welcome back The Ad-Ventures who play the music of Surf-Rock legends, The Ventures! Fans of Surf-Rock or 1960's music, this is the night for you as it's quite rare to find a band that plays this style of music! The Ad-Ventures play the music of The Ventures, music that has been described variously as fun, happy, lively, danceable, good-time, cheerful and upbeat. The best-selling instrumental rock band in music history, The Ventures have sold 100 million albums (outselling the Beatles 2 to 1 in Japan), with 14 hit singles and 38 LPsthat hit the charts. Blues Sunday in February at the Linsmore Tavern w The Legendary Castaways!!!!

Sunday February 9th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is looking forward to bringing back The Legendary Castways for Molson Canadian's Blues Sunday for their regular second Sunday of the month residency! Music fans, you really do need to check out this talented band, as they will blow you away! The Legendary Castaways perform blues and rock hits (and not so hits) from the 60s and 70s. Some of their favourite artists include Johnny Winter, ZZ Top, Cream, Little Feat, Bill Withers, The Allman Brothers, The Band, and many more! They are able to captivate the audience with their amazing musicianship and great set-list! Come check out this amazing band, who are really creating quite a buzz with their phenomenal live show. 1st Annual Philfest Featuring Philip Vonesh and the Spare Parts with B. Knox, Tyler Ellis and Pablo Paddy!

Friday February 7th is going to be a really fun night as the Linsmore Tavern is hosting the very 1st annual Philfest featuring one of the country's most exciting up and coming bands, Phillip Vonesh and the Spare Parts! Rounding out this incredible line-up of Canadian Indie artists include B. Knox, Tyler Ellis and Pablo Paddy! 

Phillip Vonesh is a Toronto based singer / songwriter with a distinct roots and americana sound. His songwriting style evokes heartache and wanderlust with clever lyrics and shameless hooks. He is strongly influenced by the 60’s folk revival and 70’s outlaw country, add in some 80’s pop and you have a songwriter who can borrow from any decade and churn out compelling contemporary songs that are as timeless as the ones for which they are influenced. 

Pablo Paddy is brainchild of Patrick Breeding, haling from St Catherines, the music—eclectic, and moody— draws from a range of influences, including folk, alternative, art-rock, and indie. 

Tyler Ellis is a Toronto based singer/songwriter with a John Prine meets Stompin’ Tom sensibility, who has released 5 different albums.

B. Knox is a Canadian singer-songwriter forging songs out of heartbreak and landscape.Music fans, you need to check out all of this talent! The show starts at 7:30pm, there will be a $5 cover charge!
