An All-Star Tribute to The Ramones with The Hard Toms Punk Rock Tribute to Tom Jones @ The Linsmore Tavern!

Wednesday June 21st is going to be a night for the ages at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth)! It's not very often that we put on shows on Wednesday nights, but on June 21st we are opening up our stage to a SuperGroup Tribute to The Ramones for a warm-up gig before playing in front of more then 30,000 people at Rockfest in Montebello Quebec! Opening the will be the very unique and really fun band called The Hard Toms who will be playing the music of Tom Jones with a Punk Rock sound to it! This is an extremely unique show featuring some top-notch musicians playing in a small intimate venue. Instead of travelling all the way to Quebec to see this ALL-STAR Tribute to The Ramones, you can come see them play a warm-up gig in Toronto at the Linsmore!

Opening this Wednesday night at the Linsmore Tavern are The Hard Toms who will be playing a high energy, punked up set-list of Welsh singer and legend Tom Jones! Tome Jones became one of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the mid-1960s. Since then, he has sung many forms of popular music – poprockR&Bshow tunescountrydancesoul music and gospel – and sold over 100 million records. This is kind of ironic, as Tom Jones has dabbled into almost every style of music, except for punk rock, who The Hard Toms will absolutely entertain you with their cool variations of Tom Jones's classics! Tom Jones has had thirty-six Top 40 hits in the United Kingdom and nineteen in the United States; some of his notable songs include "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat", "Delilah", "Green, Green Grass of Home", "She's a Lady", "Kiss", and "Sex Bomb".[2] The band features: Chris LaBonte (guitar), Steve Whitehouse (bass and lead vocals), Chris Parkins (drums) and Raphaël Désilets (trumpet)!

To say that we are honoured and excited to have this ALL-STAR Tribute to The Ramones perform at the Linsmore Tavern is an understatement! This Tribute to The Ramones features Darren Pfieffer drummer of Goldfinger, The Salads and Sum 41, Mikey Hawdon & Phil Page of The Fairmounts, and Lucas Stagg of The Beatclub! You are not going to see this band play many shows, due to their busy schedule, but you can see them in front of 30,000 at Rockfest this summer or at the Linsmore Tavern in front of an intimate audience!

This show is going to be a hot-seller, so get your tickets now before they Sell-Out! Tickets are only $7 in advance, $10 at the door! Buy tickets at the bar or here: BUY TICKETS!!
