Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band Live at the Linsmore Tavern for Blues Sunday!

The band that we having coming in Sunday July 29th for Molson Canadian Blues Sunday has played 3 previous shows at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth), to rave reviews and we have had multiple requests to bring them back! Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band is making their return to the Linsmore Tavern for the first time in a year for another evening of blues, part of our Molson Canadian Blues Sunday! Mike Nagoda is an incredible talent and will definitely inspire you with his amazing slide guitar skill! Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band will play a variation of Blues mixed in with Jazz, Country and Hard Rock, played with not just one slide, but two. Mike’s unique style of Double Slide Guitar (influenced by the late Brian Cober) is done by only a handful of musicians across the world. Universals Juveniles: Tribute to Max Webster returns to Rock the Linsmore Tavern!

It's been a long time since we have booked one of the best bands we have booked in the history of the Linsmore Tavern, is the Universal Juveniles: Tribute to Max Webster who will be returning on July 28th! It has been more than 2 years since we have had this very unique and fantastic Tribute at the Linsmore Tavern and this band does not play very many shows at all, so it's very rare to get them in for a show! It doesn't get much more Canadian then Max Webster and The Universal Juveniles who are recognized as the BEST Tribute to Max Webster! The show is taking place on Saturday July 28 at 9:30pm and there is already a lot of buzz circulating around this show! These guys don't play very much, but when they do it is definitely a MUST-SEE Event!

Along with Rush and Triumph, Max Webster was absolutely one of the biggest and most popular Rock Bands out of Canada in the late 1970's and early 80's! Releasing 7 studio albums between 1976 and 1981, Max Webster gained International Recognition and there songs were a staple on all Canadian FM Radio Stations.  

The Universal Juveniles will give you the Ultimate Max Webster experience playing the songs note for note just the way Max Webster would! This band is for the hardcore Max Webster fans and if you haven't seen them before, you MUST head over to the Linsmore Tavern on July 28, because this is going to be an event!

Trixie Goes Hollywood - 80's Dance Party at the Linsmore Tavern!

Friday July 27th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave), can't wait to bring in for the very first time, Trixie Goes Hollywood for a fun, 80's Dance Party! If you are a fan of the 80's this is the night for you, as Trixie Goes Hollywood will be performing some amazing music from that era, from pop, punk, new wave, rock and even some one hit wonders! Trixie Goes Hollywood started up in the early 80's and reunited in 2005 where they have performed outdoor festivals, large concerts, intimate bars and very early morning TV shows. You will hear songs from bands such as The Cars, Cheap Trick, The Cult, Dead or Alive, Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, Rick James, Joan Jett, The Knack, Roxette, Soft Cell, Tommy Tutone and so many more! The show starts at 9:30pm, there will be a $5 cover charge.

This Thursday July 26th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is excited to welcome for the very first time, Flight Risk!

Coming off a successful show at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, Flightrisk comes to the Linsmore Tavern.

That’s right Flight Risk will be ripping up The Linsmore with their new songs and sound that will rock the world.

Matt Bentley, a frequent performer at the Linsmore, is excited to bring his new band to the Linsmore featuring Jeremy Smith on lead vocals, Sam McClay on Drums, Hylton Reiff on Bass, and Rob Shatteman on lead guitar.

Flying out of Toronto, Ontario comes a new band with an unstoppable sound and energy that will leave you craving for more. Flight Risk combines a rhythmic mix of rock, pop and alternative music with a brand new modern-day edge. Knowing sure well that time and experience is what really makes a band, Flight Risk is just that. Years of experience and an appetite for more makes a recipe to look out for.
