Notorious: Duran Duran Tribute Live at the Linsmore Tavern Back To 80's Month Part II

Our second Tribute Act for Back To The 80's Month Part II, is playing for the very first time and there is a huge buzz circulating around this show!!! Notorious: Duran Duran Tribute will be bringing the big hair to the Linsmore Tavern and will be playing a night of music from 80's Icons Duran Duran!

Notorious recreates the energy and unique sound of the original band, featuring the widest range of material from their eponymous 1981 debut album to their latest global hit, All You Need Is Now. Not only can you expect a show packed with instantly recognizable classics such as Hungry Like The Wolf, Rio, Save A Prayer, Girls On Film, Ordinary World, and Planet Earth but also other gems such as Serious, All She Wants Is and even some songs from the Power Station!

The live sound and image faithfully recreates the 2004 original lineup when Simon le Bon and Nick Rhodes were rejoined by John, Andy and Roger Taylor to release the Astronaut album and perform on their subsequent world tour which was met to unanimous universal acclaim. Since then the newest album, All You Need is Now, harkens back to their immensely popular sound of the early 1980's similar in spirit to Rio, one of the classic pop rock albums of all time.

Message In A Bottle: Tribute To The Police, Part of Back To The 80'S Month Part II!!

November was such an amazing month at the Linsmore Tavern with Back To The 80's Month, that we have to do it again this month with Back To The 80's Month Part II!  Kicking off the Back To The 80's Month Part II is a band that will be making their debut at the Linsmore Tavern, Message In A Bottle: Tribute To The Police!!

If you are looking for the authentic sound of the Police, this is the band, with the Drums, bass & guitar with minimal effects & no tracks.  Dave La Fame (bass & vox) sounds so much like Sting, close your eyes & you're challenged to hear the difference. Precisely replicating the drum sounds & feel is Neil La Fortune. Rounding out the trio & filling all the holes in between with the jazzy, ghost-in-the-machine textures creative subtleties is guitar aficionado Gordon Deppe (Of the Spoons).  MIAB have been pleasantly surprised to discover how many others still have such affection for the rock-reggae sounds that dominated radio airwaves in the early 80s to make The Police one of musics all time best selling artists. This has allowed the group to travel & play throughout Canada & the USA. Plus a memorable performance in Bermuda.

Tickets for this show are on sale and are $5 in advance and $10 at the door!  You can purchase the tickets at the bar or right here:  Buy Tickets!!!
